2026 Residencies

Artists have been invited to spend a week as the "Artist in Residence" at the Clare Art House.​

Clare Art House is owned by the Clare and Gilbert Valleys Council and is situated at 8 Mill Street, Clare. It is a short walk from the Main Street shopping and café precinct. The Art House is part-occupied on permanent lease by Arts Collective Clare Valley, a group of  local artists who have been working together to run a gallery space for over 10 years.

 

The gallery is open 6 days a week, 10:30am – 3:00pm. Two rooms within the ArtHouse are available for use by other artists or groups. Our annual exhibition calendar includes local U3A and High School, a Youth Art Prize, SALA festival, Clare Valley Festival of the Lamb Art Prize, as well as  visiting collectives from Adelaide.

During February and March 2026 individual artists have been given the opportunity to create in Residence at the Clare ArtHouse.  Residencies are taking place over 8 weeks. The ACCV has provided a vibrant and supportive  space for these working artists to create and sell art, conduct workshops or provide activities.
