Lyn Plug is a talented artist working across many media and subjects to create appealing works of art.

Lyn feels fortunate to live in the mid north and finds beauty all around her. Her love of animals is evident in her work and her landscapes are evocative of her idyllic rural environment.

A versatile artist, Lyn enjoys working in pastel, watercolour, inktense, acrylics and oils, the latter being her favourite. She is inspired by The Impressionists.

Always productive, Lyn has kept busy with commissions of portraits and pets. She also had a successful garment painting business in the 80’s. Her talent for painting animals is wonderful and her hand painted cards featuring birds, native wildlife and horses are particularly popular in the gallery.

Lyn continues to grow as an artist, always learning and trying new things. She embraces the spirit of the collective and is very generous with her support of other Artists.
